Penn retires after having face smashed by Diaz for 3 rounds. UFC 137 was a good time.

Some good fights last night for the ufc. BJ Penn and Nick Diaz took
the spotlight in a 3 round slug fest with Nick once again proving he
can dish it out as well as take a fist to the face. Penn Retired after
the match as his face was a MESS, broken nose and his left eye
resembled that of Josh Koshchek after GSP was done with him. Ground
Meat.
Penn just didn't seem to be able to tap into that inner animal again
and wasn't able get his thing going. Nick is a master at what he does
and once started his opponents do nothing to stop him. Sort of like how
Anderson Silva works. 2 totally different styles of fighting but they
both have that quality.
Then Nick had the ignorance to call out GSP and say he was faking the
injury. LOL. Nick, you had that fight, you didnt show up. Part of the
millions you want is sitting infront of a camera, tough poop for you,
you had your chance, it was written and you screwed yourself, so now
you mouthing off makes you look like the chump you are.
Nick you had the fight with GSP. You screwed it up yourself. Pay
attention and show up to play the game and you will have your fight.
I was disappointed in Matt the meat-head Mitrione as he lost his first
fight to Chiek Kongo. Kongo was probably Matt's first real challenge in
the cage. Not to discredit his other fights but Cheik had the
experience and ring savvy ness to keep Matt from teeing off and getting
his rock on.
 Kongo took the deserved decision.
Donald Cerrone was just awesome against Denise Siver. In the first
round out struck him, kicked him in the face and after a short
comeback, a couple seconds, Siver got punched in the face Donald got
his back and quickly choked him to submission tap.
A couple other fights, many judges decisions where questionable like
the match where Brandon Vera took the fight with a surprised expression
on his face as he clearly lost the fight. Even when Marshall had his
arm and popped/broke the elbow, Vera didnt tap but it happened and he
said so. The judges still thought he scored more points. Dont leave it
in the hands of the judges, EVER.
Big country Roy Nelson gets to stick around after his win over Mirco
Crocop. A good fight and a back and forth match. Roy was able to take
the win and move on.

Keep your hands up and your chin down and finish the fight.
